After putting this owl box up eight years ago we have been rewarded with this!!

We do what we can to promote wildlife here as well as the looking at the green issues please see our sustainable page for what we do here at the The Old Rectory.

In the garden we have our ups and downs, but this is one of the high lights this year so far and the various bird boxes scattered around the garden have nests in them.

We have also decided that from the start of 2007 every 100th guests staying here will be invited to plant a tree here at The Old Rectory. Adrian and Lucy were our 1st tree planters.

We expect to plant 6 trees a year will you be helping to plant one of them?
